Open Days
If you apply to study Welsh in Cardiff, we normally invite you to one of our open days. We hold special open days for candidates who wish to study Single Honours Welsh, Joint Honours Welsh, and also for those interested in studying for a LLB degree in Welsh and Law. Of course, if you are applying for more than one degree scheme in Cardiff, you could be invited to two or three of these open days. If you are not sure which open day you should attend, please contact us and we can discuss what is best for you.
Our open days are informal and friendly events. You will receive further information about University life and about the nature of the schemes for which you have applied. They are opportunities for you to see the University and to meet the staff of the School, and also to talk to some of our current students.
We would urge everyone who is making an application to try to attend an Open Day, as they give you a great opportunity to learn more about student life in the School of Welsh.
