Originally from Pontypridd, Ceren joined Cardiff University in 2003 as an undergraduate student. She graduated in Sociology and Criminology in 2006. She then worked in the Cardiff and Vale of Glamorgan Welsh for Adults Centre before moving to the School of Welsh as an Undergraduate Administrator in November 2007.
