Shân Williams-Roberts is originally from Blaenau Ffestiniog and previously worked as a tutor at the Cardiff and Vale of Glamorgan Welsh for Adults Centre and at Swansea University. She joined the School in 2012 as a tutor teaching on the Welsh-language Sabbatical Scheme. Cardiff University is one of three establishments currently running the scheme which is funded by the Welsh Government. It offers the opportunity for Welsh-language and pedagogical training for those who wish to teach, lecture or train wholly or partially through the medium of Welsh or bilingually.
