The University is currently working on a new plan to reduce our carbon emissions. We are constantly planning more and more energy saving projects, but we believe the best people to spot energy saving opportunities are those who work and study in our buildings every day.
That’s why we are offering the opportunity for one member of staff or student to win a £100 and the possible implementation of their energy saving initiative within the University.
All you need to do is download the form linked on the right, and complete with the details of the energy saving idea you have thought of, where in the University it would be, why/how it would save energy and how it would be implemented; and submit the form to Katrina Henderson, Assistant Director Environment by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org by March 31st 2014, with your name and student number/staff department.
We will select the best idea that we can implement straight away or investigate further. The winner will be invited to the first ever Green Impact Awards evening at the end of the year to collect their prize by the Vice Chancellor.
