Cardiff University owns an extensive 33 acre site which provides students, staff and external users with high quality grass pitches accompanied by catering and substantial changing facilities. The site is located 6 miles to the east of the Cathays city centre campus in Llanrumney.

Pavilion

Changing Facilities

 

Extensive changing facilities

 

The Pavilion with more than 20 changing rooms also offers a lounge area. It has a professional meeting room with media facilities for all your coaching and conference needs. This highly sought after facility is available to external clubs and associations for use in a variety of sports and is now operational from 09:00 Monday - Friday. Please contact the facility for further details of weekend usage.

Regular external users of this facility include the Welsh Rugby Union, Cardiff Blues Rugby, Newport-Gwent Dragons Rugby, Cardiff City FC, the Welsh Football Association and touring International teams - Most recently the Argentinean and Scottish Senior and Development Rugby squads.

 

Parking

 

There are good parking facilities for cars and coaches at this site, however on the few occasions when large student competitions are taking place, parking may become limited. It should be noted that the facility is located in a residential area and that all users are required to show care and consideration when parking in the surrounding areas.
