The Cardiff University Strength & Conditioning Centre is located on Park Place,  University Main Building and Students Union.

This recently refurbished site en specifically fitted with performance, strength and conditioning in mind, allowing athletes to maximise their sporting potential.

There are 8 high performance power racks and lifting platforms with Olympic standard bars & plates, increased free-wight capacity, a push/pull power sled run and plate loaded resistance kit, this facility is designed to cater for the most demanding of athletes.

As well as providing excellent facilities for the individual sports person, the facilities at Cardiff University Strength and Conditioning Centre also hold group training sessions. There is a Fitness Studio for group fitness sessions (see the download centre for the current class timetable) and a 'Spin' room containing 12 'Keiser' Spin Bikes.

Whether it is as part of a competitive team, or individuals wanting to push their limits just that extra bit further, these sessions provide a challenge for anyone who takes part.

Please note: Competency in specific lifting techniques must be demonstrated before taking part in some of these sessions. For more information please contact the Centre directly.
