Entry Requirements
Part of the Cardiff School of Nursing and Midwifery Studies selection procedure involves assessing an applicant’s fitness to practise, and there are more details in Guide for Applicants. The health assessment is independent of the selection process and takes place after an offer has been made. All offers made are subject to a satisfactory Criminal Record Bureau Disclosure and health screening which will determine fitness for practice.
Funding
Funding to undertake the Return to Practice programme is available from the Welsh Government and is available to nurses and health visitors permanently resident in Wales. Nurses working outside the NHS or living outside of Wales are able to self fund for this programme.
