Degree Programmes
Cardiff School of Nursing and Midwifery Studies is committed to, and renowned for, excellence in teaching and research. The programmes have been specifically designed to provide a range of knowledge and skills required for practice in a variety of care settings. The School has close links with the Nursing Directorate of the Cardiff and Vale University Local Health Board, Aneurin Bevan Local Health Board and Velindre NHS Trust who provide the majority of the clinical experience students will gain during their studies.

The School offers two three-year pre-registration full-time degree schemes: the Bachelor of Nursing, in Adult Nursing, Children's Nursing, or Mental Health Nursing and the Bachelor of Midwifery.
The School offers an MSc in Advanced Practice and a PgDip/MSc in Specialist Community Public Health Nursing as well as several Postgraduate Certificate Programmes.
The School offers long and short post-registration Undergraduate programmes.
These are for qualified nurses and midwives seeking further qualifications.
