Welcome to all postgraduate Healthcare students who are enrolling at Cardiff University

Postgraduate Taught Students

Induction for postgraduate taught students will take place on Wednesday 26th September 2012 at 9.30 am, Room 4.7. Ty Dewi Sant, Heath Campus.  Students will have the opportunity to meet with course leaders and discuss module options if applicable. The module timetables can be accessed from the link on the right hand side of this page.

Central Enrolment

All students must enrol online.  Registry will notify you by letter and email prior to the commencement of your course on how to access online enrolment.  It is important that you register as soon as you receive this notification..

You will find information about online enrolment at the Cardiff University website www.cardiff.ac.uk/regis/enrolment

Cardiff University Student Card

All students are required to have a Cardiff University Student Card. These will be issued during the morning of 26th September 2012.  For those who are unable to attend this event, alternative arrangements will be made for the production of your Student Card.

All students are required to carry the card when on University premises.  It is also your library card and your NUS card.  Before being issued this card, you will need to have completed online enrolment and provide proof of identity.  Acceptable forms of identification can be seen following the link below:

Car Parking

A map showing the location of the Heath campus can be found following the link below:

http://www.cardiff.ac.uk/locations/resources/CardiffA4FaxMap.pdf

If travelling by car, students can park in the multi-storey car park or Heath Park car park (located just outside the Heath campus).  Unfortunately we have been unable to secure subsidised parking in the multi-storey car for 26th - 28th September 2012 (which is charged at the rate of £3 for the day) due to resurfacing taking place on one of the levels.  If you would like subsidised parking to be arranged for future days in the academic year, this can be arranged.  Support staff will be in touch to organise this.

Alternatively, students can use the Heath Park car park which is located just outside the perimeter of the Heath Campus off Allensbank Road.  This is a pay and display with a flat rate of £2.50 for the day (first 3 hours are free).  Directions to Heath Park Car park can be found here . A path from the car park leads straight to the campus next to Ty Dewi Sant.
