The launch of The Cardiff University Ageing Science and Older People Network (CASciOPe), featuring a poster exhibition, an evening lecture and recital of a poem by Gillian Clarke. This event is generously supported by The Academi.
This launch is happening as a part of a wider event to celebrate "The United Nations International Day of Older People", details are available in the attached document:
The Cardiff University Ageing Science and Older People Network (CaSciOPe) is a local forum for interdisciplinary research, connecting scholars interested in social scientific and biological aspects of ageing.
The network brings together ageing scientists, gerontologists and sociologists of science and medicine to explore how ageing science interrelates to the quality of life of older people.
