Professor Gordon Hughes, Chair in Criminology, has been invited to deliver a plenary address at the New Zealand Policing Research Symposium ('Policing with Confidence') July 14/15 2008. The address is entitled 'Partnership Working and Strategic Problem-solving for Safer Communities: Provocations for the New Policing and Local Governance'. Whilst in New Zealand he is also giving a 'justice horizons' seminar to the Ministry of Justice.
