SRA Cymru are pleased to announce the next in their evening seminar series, which is to focus on the new Wales Institute of Social and Economic Research, Data and Methods (WISERD). WISERD is a combined venture between Cardiff, Swansea, Bangor, Aberystwyth and Glamorgan Universities and is jointly funded by the Welsh Assembly Government’s Higher Education Funding Council for Wales and the UK Economic and Social Research Council. This exciting undertaking will focus on an ambitious data integration, primary research, methodological development and capacity building programme in Wales. The seminar provides an opportunity to outline the work of the Institute and reflect upon its potential contribution to research in and of Wales.
