Qualifications
In 2007 I enrolled on the M.A. Social Work course at Cardiff. This followed eight years work experience in a number of social care settings. Following this I applied for a four year studentship funded by the Economic and Social Research Council. This enabled me to attain an MSc in Social Science Research Methods and embark on a PhD.
Research Interests
My research interests are currently concerned with social work approaches to children and families. In particular I am interested in prevention and early intervention strategies and the relationships established between service users and professionals.
