Research Interests
Innovative ways need to be found of fostering a transition to low carbon, secure and affordable energy systems. Efforts need to focus not only on low carbon forms of energy production, but on ways to engage people to actively reduce their energy consumption in everyday life. By investigating the link between place, identity and practice through time, my study hopes to shed light on the complexities of negotiating the transition to less energy intensive lifestyles.
