Mrs Marion Andrews-Evans
Qualifications
A qualified nurse (adult) with over 20 years’ experience at Board level, having worked in NHS Trusts, Health Authorities, primary care and latterly in the Welsh Government. I have developed particular expertise in organisational governance, strategy, service quality and patient safety. I have been studying for a Doctorate in Health Studies and am currently completing my thesis which is in a final draft.
I am married with two children, one is a trainee Architect and the other is studying to be an Accountant at Cardiff Business School. I have been a school governor for the past 6 years and am currently Chair.
I have taken a career break this summer to allow me to work full-time to complete my thesis and write journal articles and a book based on my research findings.
Research Interests
- Management studies, particularly in the area of successful and failing organisations, taking a sociological approach.
- Healthcare quality and patient safety.
