Research Interests
Pamela has research interests in global political economy, corporate social responsibility and governance. Particularly in relation to self-regulation in global supply chains: labour codes of conduct, international framework agreements (IFAs) and fair-trade, and the role of trade unions, non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and social movements in promoting social justice.
Additional Information
Currently developing grant proposals to undertake qualitative studies of governance structures and labour codes of conduct in global supply chains, chiefly:
1) The Indian-United Kingdom (UK) garment supply chain
2) The Colombian-UK cut flower supply chain, in association with the Javeriana University, Bogotá.
