Research Interests
Dr Davey has been involved in social work and social work education for nearly 30 years. Her research interests are informed by her social work practice experiences, primarily in child and family social work including; residential work, fostering and adoption, field social work, children’s guardian and manager of a family centre. Her research interests have centred on child welfare, but have focused in particular on the effectiveness of family centres, child neglect, looked after children and assessments in statutory child care teams.
