Recent years have seen huge advances in the online availability of evidence for the text of the New Testament. Much of it is connected with work towards the first comprehensive edition of the Greek New Testament for over 100 years, the Editio Critica Maior. This edition will constitute the text for the Nestle-Aland hand edition used by students, scholars and translators. Three teams are collaborating on the edition, based in Münster, Birmingham and Wuppertal. Dr Hugh Houghton (University of Birmingham) will give an illustrated introduction to the scope and creation of the Editio Critica Maior, including the electronic resources created by the project which open up the New Testament tradition for further study on many levels. All are welcome.
