Lifestories - story telling

Life Stories is a FREE one day community event exploring the value and popularity of stories about people's life experiences.

Lecturers from Cardiff University’s School of History, Archaeology and Religion and staff from St Fagans National History Museum & the Glamorgan Archive will deliver an exciting programme of talks and interactive activities & workshops based around the following themes:

 

Life Stories: biography & characters in historical fiction
My Story: family history, local history & autobiography
Our Story: community stories, oral history
Pet stories: animals & people, pets in our lives
Afterlife Stories: past lives, contact with the dead
Telling Stories: digital story telling, heritage stories and medical histories

Life Stories! is FREE but if you wish to attend the full programme of events it is important that you contact us beforehand to register.

Life Stories! is a collaborative event involving Cardiff University, Amgueddfa Cymru - National Museum Wales and the Glamorgan Archive.
