University Information

All Students at Cardiff University must enrol (register and pay fees) on-line. You will be sent an e-mail (or letter), approximately three weeks prior to the start of your programme, advising you to complete the online enrolment task via SIMS online at

To successfully enrol at Cardiff University please complete the following:

  • complete online enrolment, including registration, confirmation of programme and confirm payment of fees
  • see your Personal Tutor in History
  • attend the Department enrolment/induction events (see above links)
  • complete and return the Specific Provision in Examinations form (where appropriate)

Addition details for new students

  • collect your Cardiff University Student Card
  • read the meningitis and immunisation advice and complete and return the Health questionnaire
  • complete and return the Specific Provision in Examinations form

Alternatively, there are supported enrolment venues open in September which will be staffed to assist those students who have difficulties enrolling.
