The MSc served as an important first step towards gaining employment within the heritage sector and greatly contributed towards me gaining my first internship. I liked the emphasis on the practical aspects of the course, using as many case studies and real life examples as possible and felt that the course would better equip me within the 'real' heritage world.
Studying at Cardiff was very appealing as it has such a well respected conservation reputation, with staff who had wide ranging knowledge and diverse interests.
The Cardiff MSc gave me a good all round knowledge of collections care and this knowledge was invaluable after leaving University.
