Summary of course content
This module involves the study of the Greek New Testament. Students will be required to translate and exegete a number of passages from the gospels and epistles of the New Testament. In addition, there will be critical study of the manuscript tradition of the New Testament (i.e. Text-critical work), incl. examination of variant readings.

Aims
- To enable students to develop their Greek language skills in relation to the study of the New Testament.
- To assist students in developing their practice of biblical exegesis.
- To give students the opportunity to understand and use the critical apparatus of the Greek New Testament.
Learning outcomes
Competence in the Greek language, sufficient to translate intelligently unseen passages of the New Testament.
