Further introducing grammar, vocabulary,  morphology and syntax of Hellenistic Greek and beginning to work with original sources

Prerequisites: RT3201 Hellenistic Greek I

Aims

To introduce students to the study of Hellenistic Greek sources

Learning outcomes

Ability to read, write and translate Hellenistic Greek texts and to recognise grammatical forms and functions

Teaching methods

Small group language teaching, exercises in grammar and translation, working with original sources; regular homework

Assessment

Coursework and examination (50:50)
