Technology and Materials - 10 credits (HS2400)
A module combining theoretical and practical work, in which the student is introduced to the concept of archaeological materials and their underlying technologies. The technology of particular materials and how such technologies vary over time will be discussed, stressing links to scientific examination covered by module HS2399. Practical classes may be used to allow students to develop skills in handling materials and artefacts.
