Theory and Practice in the Workplace - 40 credits (HST320)
This module is designed to consolidate and extend the full cross section of conservation knowledge gained by a student during their first degree in conservation. It is essential that students already have good understanding of conservation ethics, theory and practice. The module relates conservation theory to assessment of practical problems and examines the difficult ethical and financial decisions which face the conservator in the business world. Decision-making and rationalisation of options are central to the aims and objectives of the course. Seminars are an important part of the teaching format.
