Heath Park Campus
The Heath Park Campus is home to the University Hospital of Wales On Site Neighbourhood Policing Team.
This team consists of one Police Officer and four Police Community Support Officers who are permanently based in Cardigan House.
The team provides onsite high visibility patrols and public reassurance as well as dealing with any low level antisocial behaviour and criminal activity.
If you would like crime prevention advice please contact the On Site Neighbourhood Policing Team on any of the above numbers. You can also view www.ourbobby.com which is a news feed for any up and coming events in the area as well as other contact details you may require.
The On Site Neighbourhood Policing Team also offer a Community Access Point in the University Hospital of Wales Concourse every Tuesday between 12pm and 2pm, where a member of the team will be present to answer any of your questions or queries.
Recent Bicycle Thefts
Please be aware that there has been a recent increase in bicycle theft on the University Hospital of Wales site and it appears that people are coming onto the hospital grounds with the deliberate intention of stealing bicycles. If you have any information about the recent thefts please contact the On Site Neighbourhood Policing Team by email or on any of the telephone numbers listed on the right of this page.
If you would like to have your bike security marked whilst you are on campus, the team can provide coding and ultraviolet marker pens. You can then register the cycle details on the free national property register www.immobilise.com. We strongly recommend that you use a ‘D lock’ to secure your bike, as this provides the best prevention against theft. Visit www.soldsecure.com for certified locks.
For further advice on keeping your possessions such as bicycles, mobile phones and cars secure, please view our Personal Safety and Security guide.
