Translation

BA students must take the core 20 credit translation module ML8101 plus one compulsory module among the following: ML8102, ML8104, ML8105, ML8106, ML8107 and ML 8108, plus two compulsory 40 credit language modules. 

Apart from Translation degree students, this subject is open to any student enrolled on a degree programme in the University who has an A level (normally Grade B or higher) in any modern language. Students with non-standard qualifications, or with a C in a modern language, should see the Module Leader at enrolment.
