Why work with Cardiff University?

Cardiff University is recognised in independent government assessments as one of Britain's leading research-led universities.
The vast majority of the University's research staff work in areas of national and international significance. Such research annually earns grants and investments totalling many tens of millions of pounds and attracts to Cardiff top researchers from around the world.
Whilst high ranking in assessments is welcome, it is the enhancement that our research makes to the quality of life and lifetime prospects of people that is the driving force of Cardiff University.
Cardiff’s partnerships within the region are numerous. We work closely with the NHS, Government and local authorities to contribute to research-led policy making. Such links with governments, their agencies and related bodies extend worldwide and include work with the United Nations, the World Health Organisation and NATO.
Cardiff partnerships with business are also both local and global. Our Innovation Network and Manufacturing Engineering Centre are particularly notable in supporting small and medium size enterprises. Internationally we work with multinational corporations such as Sony and IBM.
