FP7 Health Work Programme 2013: Information event in Cardiff 23rd May 2012

Victoria Brewer, FP7 UK National Contact Point for Health (Academia),of the Medical Research Council (MRC) and Inga Benner, our European Adviser at the UK Research Office (UKRO), will both be visiting Cardiff University on Wednesday, 23rd May.

Victoria has kindly agreed to give a talk on the forthcoming 2013 Health Work Programme (the call itself comes out in July 2012, with a likely deadline in early October 2012), and she will also be available that day (am and pm) to hold one-to-one sessions subject to availability. In addition, Inga will be presenting information on future funding available for Health research under Horizon 2020 (successor to FP7), which will run from 2014 to 2020. These presentations will begin at 11.00am, and will run to 12.30pm including time for a Q & A session.

Date, time & venue: Wednesday 23rd May: the full programme will run from 9.30am to 2.30pm: Birt Acres Lecture Theatre, Bute Building, Cardiff University, King Edward VII Avenue, CF10 3NB.

This is being promoted as a  Welsh regional event and is open to academia, industry (large and small) and anyone else with an interest in this area of research. Early registration is advisable. Full information is included in the attached programme and registration form.

 

 

Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) Inspection of Cardiff University

Cardiff University has received notification that a Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) Inspection will take place for its Non Commercial Clinical Trials (Drug Trials) . The Inspection will involve trials for which Cardiff University acts as Sponsor or for which it plays a key role. A new MHRA Inspection web page has been set up to provide you with further information.
