European Research Funding
The University accesses a variety of European Research Funding mainly via the European Union's Framework Programme. The current programme for research and development is Horizon 2020 (H2020: 2014-2020). It is worth noting that universities are uniquely placed to assess funding (research, training, studies etc) across many of the European Commission's Directorates-General.
Below is a list of different funding areas:
- Framework Programmes
- Structural Funds
- Research Funding through Education and Training Programmes
- Information Sources
In addition to the Framework Programme and European Structural Funds, there are several other sources of European research funding that colleagues at Cardiff University have successfully accessed. These include grants from various Directorate-Generals of the European Commission, Leonardo da Vinci, EuropeAid, ENISA and INTAS (currently not operative).
