University of Wales Press Fund

HEFCW confirmed in February 2011 that from 2011/12 the University of Wales Press Funding will be incorporated into institutions’ QR Funding. This will be ring-fenced for three years and Cardiff’s allocation for 2011/12 will be K£42.

Institutions, at their discretion and in line with their research strategy, will be able to determine what work to support and whether do so via the Press or through other outlets.  The fund should only be used to support scholarly publications and related activities in the fields of Welsh culture, history and literature.

The fund will be overseen and allocated by the Chair of the Research Committee as appropriate.  To apply for the fund, please see the document attached below which provides further detailed information including criteria and an application form.
