In partnership with others, the Planning Division supports and drives the development of the University, playing an active role in the management of change
By:
– leading integrated and effective strategic planning and supporting its associated processes;
– providing particular support for research and innovation & engagement policy, funding and planning;
– providing particular support and advice to Heads of School in strategic and business planning;
– monitoring the external context in which the University operates and advising on the impact;
– providing advice and support on the securing of HEFCW funds, and on major project funding as required;
– advising on allocation of resources in support of the University’s goals and leading the operation and development of the school allocation model;
– promoting and developing project management processes across the University;
– acting as project managers for initiatives of strategic importance that fall outside the normal division of administrative responsibilities or require cross-University co-ordination.
