Strawberries and cream at the School of Pharmacy Graduation 2012
The 2012 graduation ceremony for students of the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences took place on a sunny Thursday, 19th July. Afterwards, family and friends were invited to join the new graduates at a celebratory afternoon tea reception in a large marquee within the Grounds of the main building.
Following some light refreshments the Head of School, Professor Gary Baxter, presented the annual prizes to the graduates.
Undergraduate Prize-winners

Professor Baxter presents the RPSGB Science Committee Prize for best overall performance in the MPharm programme to Hayley Gorton.

Professor Baxter presents the Centre for Innovation in Regulatory Science prize for the best overall clinical performance in MPharm IV to Jennifer Adams.

Professor Baxter presents the Vernon Lloyd Memorial prize for the student showing most promise in Pharmaceutical Studies in MPharm IV to Andrew Lim.

Professor Baxter presents the Richard Evans prize for best overall performance in Drug Delivery throughout the MPharm course to Katherine Bayliss.

Professor Baxter presents the Organisation for Professionals in Regulatory Affairs (TOPRA) prize for best overall performance in Clinical and Pharmacy Practice throughout the MPharm course to Jennifer Adams.
Postgraduate Prize-winners

Professor Baxter presents the prize for best overall performance on the Diploma in Pharmacy Clinical Practice (Community and Primary Care) for 2009-2011 to Jonathan James.

Professor Baxter presents the Developing Clinical Practice prize on the Diploma in Pharmacy Clinical Practice (Community and Primary Care) for 2010-2012 to Ruth Mitchell.

Professor Baxter presents Paul Cross with his award for Best Student
Teacher of the Year Awards

Teacher of the Year (Junior Category) awarded to Dr Rebecca Price-Davies by Professor Gary Baxter.

Teacher of the Year (Senior Category) awarded to Dr Robert Sewell by Professor Baxter.
