Outstanding Contribution to the University awarded to Pharmacy

The School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences continued high showing in the recent National Student Survey (NSS) was recognised by Cardiff University with the Vice Chancellor's Award for Outstanding Contribution to the University. The School was third in the list of Schools offering degrees in pharmacy, fully approved by the General Pharmaceutical Council.
Professor Gary Baxter, Head of the School, told staff that he was delighted that the School's performance in National Student Survey 2012 was recognised in this way in the University's Celebrating Excellence Awards . The Vice-Chancellor's Award for Outstanding Contribution to the University was given for the best overall results in the NSS within the University. The School achieved 97% overall satisfaction and upper quartile performance in all domains of the survey.
Prof. Baxter emphasised that this recognition of the School's performance in the NSS actually recognises the hard work of all the staff who contribute in many different ways to supporting our undergraduate students and making their experience in the School such a positive one. He concluded by thanking colleagues.
