REF sub-panel 3 includes Professor McGuigan from the Welsh School of Pharmacy

Prof. Chris McGuigan
Chris McGuigan joins three other representatives from Pharmacy Schools on the panel for Allied Health Professions, Dentistry, Nursing and Pharmacy. He has a been a member of the Pharmacy panel on the two previous Research Assessment Exercises, giving him a unique background for the current inquiry. He also chairs Cardiff University's internal REF Sub-Group .
The other pharmacy members of the panel are Professor James McElnay from the Queen's University of Belfast, Professor Joanna Neill from the University of Bradford and Professor Kevin Shakesheff from the University of Nottingham, together with Drs Luigi Martini and Stuart Smith from GlaxoSmithKline UK Ltd.
Professor Tim Wess head of the School of Optometry in Cardiff University is also a member of this 31 member panel, which is chaired by Professor Hugh McKenna from the Institute of Nursing Research in the University of Ulster.
