CDTM 2010 delegates welcomed to Cardiff

The Welsh School of Pharmacy hosted the Third International Cellular Delivery of Therapeutic Macromolecules Symposium CDTM2010, from Saturday 26th June - Tuesday 29th June 2010. This is the third time Cardiff University has staged this symposium and this year 182 delegates from 27 countries attended.
The highly successful programme boasted world leaders in the field of cellular delivery, including Frank Szoka (San Francisco), Jan Schnitzer (San Diego) and Gilles Divita (Montepellier), with lectures given in the Great Hall of the
Students Union. There were also 95 poster presentations on Sunday and Monday highlighting the interest in this field and the importance of this symposium as a major event in the Drug Delivery calendar.

This symposium is aimed at serving the development of Early Stage Career researchers in the study of the interactions of therapeutic macromolecules with biological barriers and was again organised by Drs Mark Gumbleton & Arwyn Jones from the Welsh School of Pharmacy.
