Professor Gary Baxter is appointed Acting Head of School

The Vice Chancellor of Cardiff University has announced that Prof Gary Baxter will become Acting HoS with effect from 1st August 2010.
Gary Baxter is Professor of Pharmacology in the Welsh School of Pharmacy and takes over from Professor Stephen Denyer, who has stood down to become Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Education & Students.
The Vice-Chancellor will be proposing his appointment as substantive Head of School to both Senate and Council, as required by Ordinance 7.
