Assessment 2011 - 2012
A variety of compulsory assessments will accompany each module. Coursework consists of problem solving questions, case studies, report writing, procedure writing, surveys, drafting guidelines, MUR cases, critical analysis, critical appraisal, PARC/PACT analysis, audit, practice-based assignments and multiple choice questions. Students are required to complete a reflective portfolio (including the general level competency framework).
A compulsory audit project will be set for Year One or Year Two.
The WCPPE Enhanced Services module is also available as an optional module instead of the Year 1 audit project.
Year Two students will give a short formal presentation for assessment.
An end of year class test will assess students on the Modules taught in that year, with the exception of Module PHT502, which is assessed through a practical skills assessment.
Class Test: in May of each year
Viva voce's (if required) will be held at the end of May 2012. (Dates to be confirmed)
MSc-dissertation (not more than 20,000 words)
