Degree Programmes
We offer one undergraduate degree programme, MPharm, which has four themes: medicinal chemistry, drug delivery, pharmacology and pharmacy practice. This course is fully approved by the General Pharmaceutical Council as a recognised route of entry in the profession of pharmacy.
The Cardiff School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences is one of the top UK schools of pharmacy and the only one in Wales. With around 35 members of full-time staff, we were awarded an excellent for the quality of our teaching and learning. Most of the staff are conducting research that is Internationally recognised.
The School has a diverse research portfolio and range of research facilities. Research interests embrace a number of themes developed across four disciplines. We are currently seeking to fill PhD Studentships for the 2011/12 intake. Studentships provide a minimum tax-free stipend of £13k / annum.
