Prof Jan Balzarini
Position:Honorary Visiting Professor
Professor Balzarini is a full professor at the Rega Institute of the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in Belgium.
He was appointed a Honorary Visiting Professor in the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, by Cardiff University in December 2010, in recognition of many years of successful research collaboration with Professor Chris McGuigan and colleagues.
He has visited Cardiff on numerous occasions over the past several years, including to give a Cardiff 125 lecture in the School in January 2009.
