The Head Of School, Professor Gary Baxter, said: "I am thrilled that the School has been awarded Athena SWAN silver recognition. The award is external validation of the environment, working practices and culture of the School that support the careers of women scientists particularly - and which benefit all who work in the School. The award was presented at an awards ceremony held at the Imperial College London.
