ISO 14001
ISO 14001 is an internationally recognised standard that sets out a framework for putting in place an effective Environmental Management System. This management system enables the University to identify and manage the aspects of our business that impact on the environment and to identify and understand the relevant laws that the University must comply with.
With the University operating an effective Environmental Management System, staff, students and stakeholders can have a degree of assurance that the University has a framework in place for managing our environmental obligations and continually improving our environmental performance.

BS OHSAS 18001
Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series (OHSAS) 18001 is an internationally recognised British Standard that sets out a framework for putting in place an effective health and safety management system. This management system helps promote a safe and healthy working environment by providing a framework that allows the University to identify and control its health and safety risks, reduce the potential for accidents, assist with legislative compliance and improve overall performance.
