Taff Trail

Part of the National Cycle Network, the Taff Trail (NCN Route 8) is a multi-purpose route between Cardiff Bay in the South and the Market Town of Brecon in the North. 55 miles (88km) in length, it passes close to Pontypridd and Merthyr Tydfil.

The Brecons Bus runs on Sundays and Bank Holidays in high summer. The Cardiff service tows a bike trailer and you can use it to get to Garwnant or Brecon with your bike, if you wish to join the route further north.

Access points:  The University campus is accessible by bike at several points from the Taff Trail.
