EMS Steering Group
The Environmental Management Systems Steering Group was formed in 2009 after the merger of the Environment Group and the Energy Working Group. The Group looks at a range of areas covered by the University EMS including Carbon, waste, travel and biodiversity. The EMS Steering group is Chaired by Professor Elizabeth Treasure Deputy Vice Chancellor. The Group has a wide representation from operational areas of the University together with representatives from the academic Schools, the student union and an elected Eco Champion representative. Meetings are held bimonthly. The EMS Steering Group reports in to the University Health, Safety and Environment Committee.
