Clinical and Investigative Vision Sciences

The Clinical and Investigative Vision Sciences Research Group is concerned with the development, and application, of clinically-based techniques for the investigation of the human visual system, and its performance, both in the normal and abnormal eye. Improving the understanding of the visual system, and developing techniques for the earlier detection of
abnormality, has a direct and immediate input into the clinical practice of optometrists, ophthalmologists, neurologists, paediatricians etc and, of course, on the quality of life of patients, themselves.
