We provide postgraduate courses leading to MPhil and PhD, within our four research themes: Mind, Brain, Neuroscience, Infection, Immunity and Inflammation, Integrated Systems and Public Health.


Short Courses

Short Courses

The School runs short Continuing Education and Continuing Professional Development courses for optometrists and for physicians. These cover all aspects of optometry, including contact lenses and relation corneal physiology, detection and management of glaucoma, of diabetes and of age-related ophthalmic disorders, management of low vision and the theory and use of new ophthalmic diagnostic instrumentation.

 WOPEC (Wales Optometry Postgraduate Education Centre) provide a wide range of course that allow students to enhance their skills in a flexible and supportive environment. A large choice of courses are available via a combination of distance learning, e-learning and practical days.
