We provide postgraduate courses leading to MPhil & PhD with our three research groups Structural Biophysics, Visual Neuroscience & Molecular Biology and Clinical Investigation & Vision Sciences.
The School runs short Continuing Education and Continuing Professional Development courses for optometrists and for physicians. These cover all aspects of optometry, including contact lenses and relation corneal physiology, detection and management of glaucoma, of diabetes and of age-related ophthalmic disorders, management of low vision and the theory and use of new ophthalmic diagnostic instrumentation.
We provide a MSc in Clinical Optometry. This is a part-time, distance learning course that allows eye care professionals to enhance both their knowledge and clinical skills via a unique combination of distance learning and practical tuition. A wide range of modules are available that are all relevant to today's clinical practice and professional development.
