Cardiff University is an international University with a unique role and place in Wales.
We already collaborate with institutions, governments and businesses worldwide and attract students and staff from across Wales and further afield.
The Way Forward: International and Engagement sets us a clear path and set of actions to help us achieve our aim of being consistently among the top 100 universities in the world.
From seeking new and exciting collaborations with universities overseas, to providing opportunities for our students to enjoy the academic and social benefits of spending time abroad and growing the number of international students we attract to Cardiff – the direction is a combination of exciting new developments.
Additionally, we wish to demonstrate further our commitment to Cardiff and Wales additionally by a series of engagement projects that cover a wide spectrum of activities.
This document sets out a series of challenging actions over the next five years which I hope collectively will focus us to be an international University, based in Wales and of benefit to Wales and its communities.
