25 June 2010
Staff can take advantage of a range of health, wellbeing and lifestyle events as part of this year’s Positive Health and Environment Week (PHEW2).
Taking place between 28th June and 9th July 2010, PHEW 2 includes many of the popular events from last year’s programme, such as a football tournament, reflexology sessions and a caricaturist.
New activities for 2010 include climbing taster session; a tour of Cardiff City Stadium, white water rafting, and a touch rugby tournament. For those who prefer something more relaxing acupressure, yoga and meditation are available.
A wide range of activities are on offer as part of PHEW 2 and the full programme is available on the Positive Working Environment website at www.cardiff.ac.uk/pwe
Even if you are unable to attend any of the events you can still be involved by submitting a recipe for a Healthy Eating book, or by entering the PHEW2 competitions that will be running over the fortnight.
Regular updates about PHEW 2 will be made available on the electronic notice board and questions about the event can be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org
