13 July 2012
Graduation week 2012 is upon us and over the course of the next five days 7000 students will graduate across 13 ceremonies. 19,000 of their family and friends will be welcomed to Cardiff to join in the celebrations.
It’s a busy week for everyone involved, but the occasion is one of the highlights in the University’s calendar.
This year there are even more ways for our graduates, their family and friends and University staff to get involved and share their Graduation moments.
· Tag your tweets using the hashtag #cu2012 and join the conversation on our Twitter Wall. The tweets will be shown on the screens in St David’s Hall and also around campus.
· Share your photos with us on our Facebook page at /cardiffunialumni
· Visit our video booths at Main Building and City Hall and leave a message for our graduates.
· Look out for the Cardiff dragon who will be out and about throughout the week meeting graduates and their family and friends. You can see his Visit Day adventures earlier this month at www.cardiff.ac.uk/thrive
At the end of Graduation week, a collection of the best photos, tweets and video messages from the Class of 2012 will be collected together into a Storify collection at http://storify.com/cardiffuni
