Postgraduate study at the University is to be supported by the 2009 University Christmas card which this year features photographs taken by members of staff.
Two images have been chosen for the Christmas card and both were winning entries in the University’s 125th anniversary photography competition. They are 'Footsteps in the snow' by Richard Wood of Information Services and 'Self-portrait in the Swiss Alps' by Dr Peter Brabham, School of Earth and Ocean Sciences.
The cards are now on sale throughout the University. For each card sold, a donation of 10p will go to supporting Postgraduate Scholarships at the University. The Scholarships will enable postgraduate students to excel in their studies and reach their full potential.
The card is 100% recycled in line with the University's commitment to sustainability.
Cards cost 40p each and are on sale at Graphic Services and Media Resource outlets throughout the Cathay’s and Heath campuses.
Cards can also be purchased and supplied with the name of Schools, Divisions, messages and logos overprinted at an additional cost of £52.50 per 500 cards for one colour. Additional charges may be incurred for two colours or more, plus the cost of the cards. Where overprinting is required please allow up to 10 days and send your text together, with TRF, by internal post to Steve Garratt, Media Resource Centre Printing c/o 30 - 36 Newport Road.
Alternatively to order packs of 10 at £4.00 per pack please contact Clare Johnston, Graphic Services on ext. 74461.
